Mubasher: Muscat Finance on Sunday reported a 5.4% profit rise in the second quarter of 2016 to reach OMR 1.17 million ($3.01 million) compared to OMR 1.11 million ($2.85 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing.

The company’s profits were slightly up by 0.42% to OMR 2.38 million in the first half of 2016 from OMR 2.37 million in the same period of 2015.

The finance company previously posted OMR 1.21 million profits in Q1-16 up 4% year-on-year from OMR 1.26 million.
